Waterside Inn wedding photography for Hui-Fen and Malcolm’s intimate wedding celebrations.

Quick apology, when you’re in the midst of wedding season, all you think about is the planning for the next wedding and editing the last wedding. So sadly the blogging takes a bit of a back seat. However, with only 3 weddings left this wedding season, I have a cup of tea on one side and my tabby cat on the other.

The wedding of Hui-Fen and Malcolm was way back in March, seems like a like a long time ago but I remember every detail as if it were yesterday. There’s was an intimate affair with close family and friends from the UK and China.

The chosen backdrop for their wedding celebrations was the beautiful Waterside Inn at Bray (If you’ve never been you really should, the food is out of this world!).  Intimate weddings are a beautiful way to celebrate your love; you get to spend more time with each of your guests and really share the emotion of the day,  you can have the wedding you really want (like amazing food at a 3 Michelin star restaurant!),  you don’t have to stress about table plans and who to invite, and best of all you can put the money you saved on a big lavish wedding towards a phenomenal honeymoon!

The ceremony was simple with readings in English and Chinese followed by a few key group photographs on the lawns overlooking the Thames. Drinks and the most delicate canapes were served prior to boarding one of two boats for a cruise on the River Thames, delightful way to enjoy the Thames. Dinner was as you would expect a gastronomical 5 course feast.

Malcolm and Hui-Fen are both keen on photography – I completed a gorgeous London Engagement Session with these two so had a good idea of the kind of bride and groom photography styles they preferred. We waited until after dinner and guests had departed to their rooms for a siesta before spending 20 minutes in and around The Waterside Inn. I am going to let their wedding pictures tell the story of their day.
