Destination Wedding Photography
As well as photographing weddings throughout the U.K. I am available for travel for destination wedding photography.
Do you yearn to get married with the guarantee of beautiful weather, on a beach far away with sand in your toes, or the greenery of a Tuscan vineyard with the aroma of jasmine in air, the romance of Venice in the Winter with the sound of choirs from the chapels tucked away in the winding streets or the sand dunes of the Middle East. For couples choosing to get married abroad, choosing a photographer from the UK often provides peace of mind by removing the common concerns, such as communicating with a photographer whose first language may not be English, making long distance arrangements can be stressful, a different style or approach to photography. If you choose to take me with you on your travels, we will have met at least once and had as many video or phone calls you need. By the time you land in your wedding destination of choice, there will be nothing I don’t know about your wedding day, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with your loved ones.
I arrive a minimum of 24 hours before your wedding day, this avoids any delays with flights or travel mishaps. If I arrive 48 hours before hand, I can include a pre wedding session. This is a great opportunity to get some beautiful relaxed pictures in the local area before your wedding day. These can be included within your wedding slideshow too.
On the day of your wedding I will photograph from the excitement of your bridal preparations through to your evening dancefloor festivities. I work in a documentary style capturing the day as it unfolds. I will record the small and big details, from your jewellery to your wedding location, the canapes and cocktails – I want you to look back at your photographs and be able to relive and share each moment. Memories may fade but your photographs will be a lasting record to be enjoyed for generations to come.
I usually return to the UK the day after your wedding, but not before I send through a small sample of images from your day to enjoy wih your wedding guests.
Destination wedding fees vary depending location and number of days away. Things to consider are; flights, accommodation and travel expenses between accommodation and wedding venue. However, we can chat through this during your initial enquiry as there are a number of options to choose from.
