I was so thrilled to be part of Sarah and James Gate Street Barn wedding. From the moment I spoke with Sarah she was so bubbly and full of excitement for her day. And on her wedding day I don’t think I have a picture where she isn’t smiling!
Gate Street Barn is a purpose built wedding venue constructed with wood from trees which fell during the 1987 hurricane. It is located close to the market town of Guildford surrounded by open farmland and fields of Surrey Hills. It’s also one of the few venues I have worked at which has a herd of English longhorn cattle!
Gate Street Barn weddings are effortlessly relaxed and the venue provides a perfect blank canvas for your dream wedding.
The bridal party prepared at the on site accommodation, champagne corks popping and giggles were the back ground sound.
One of the sweetest moments of the day was Sarah seeing her father for the first time. I say this a lot, but these moments always get to me, they are always so very precious and heartfelt.
With the sun shining it was unsurprising to find James and his grooms men having a cold pre wedding beer under the shade of the huge oak tree.
The ceremony started with laughter and this really was the theme throughout the whole day, with lots of silliness too. Take a look through the pictures below to see some of the fun these guys had on their perfect wedding day (plus the super cute pictures of Nan on the dance floor). ♥
