As a wedding photographer in Surrey you are spoilt by the range of stunning venues, and it was great to be back at the truly beautiful Botleys Mansion for the wedding of Louise and Les.
With 4 bridesmaids and 2 maids of honour on hand, Louise was not short on help for her big day! And not wanting to have all the luxuries, she arranged a wonderful surprise for her husband to be in the shape of a chauffer driven ride to his wedding day in an Aston Martin, with the grooms men in a Range Rover, the boys all looked very pleased!
The ceremony took place in the main room where Louise was given away by her younger brother Andrew. Les had a look of sheer pride as Louise made her way down the aisle, I just adore seeing the first look of the groom, it is one of my favourite images from every wedding. The groom has no idea what he looks like and for the bride it can be such a fleeting moment.
Post wedding we made our way outside for a few bride and groom portraits, taking in the stunning view of the house, whilst avoiding the impending rain. Thankfully it held off long enough to gather all their family and friends outside for a group photograph and confetti. It is lovely to be able to actually use confetti as so many churches and venues will not allow it.
At the wedding breakfast in the beautiful atrium, Andrew led the speeches, with Les paying thanks to all the very special family and friends who helped with some personal touches from stunning flowers and music in the form of piano and clarinet.
The cake was amazing, a truly gorgeous creation with the bride and groom in wellies and their pets and paw prints decorating the tilting tiers, almost too prefect to cut.
Louise and Les also added a unique touch by arranging a cocktail bar providing complimentary mojitos, cosmopolitans and sea breeze to name a few. Great idea and the guests certainly looked like they were enjoying it!
