Autumn Wasing Park Wedding Photography
Arriving for bridal prep for Nula and Jack wedding you could tell straight away the vibe was ging to be carefree and relaxed. Dating since high school (how cute is that!) they shared their day with family, but also so many of their school friends too. Before we dive in, let me set the scene for the back drop of their day. Set amidst the rolling Berkshire countryside, Wasing Park is a historic estate that offers a mix of timeless architecture and expansive gardens. As a Surrey and Berkshire wedding photographer, I love documenting weddings here, capturing real moments in a venue that feels both elegant and relaxed.

Wasing Park – Berkshire Wedding Venue
Whether your wedding is an intimate celebration in the garden or a grand reception in the Castle Barn, Wasing Park offers a stunning backdrop for natural, story-telling Wasing Park wedding photography.
The estate features multiple ceremony locations, including the sunlit Garden Room, two walls of glass looking out onto the sweeping lawns. where they also service after dinner coffees if the weather is wet. The 15th century St Nicholas Church is the perfect location for an intimate ceremony framed by gorgeous blossom trees in Spring time and also a perfect walkway for post ceremony confetti photographs. And for couples looking for an outdoor setting, Wasing Park has the Victorian Summerhouse, a stunning hand painted mural in shades of powder blue detailing floral and birds, creates a romantic whimsical backdrop to take your vows, whilst surrounded by mature trees and countryside views.
Wasing Park Pre Wedding Fun and an Emotional Brides & Fun with Grooms
Wasing Park wedding photography is easy when you are spoilt but photo perfect backdrops. Bridal prep takes place in the stunning and spacious Honeymoon Suite – recently named “Top 10 Honeymoon Suites” by Hitched.co.uk. The bridesmaids were on hand providing humour and light, and the boys, well, they were drinking, dressing and pinging each others braces!

The friendships surrounding Nula & Jack are genuinely so wholesome, with over a decade of growing together and shared experiences the atmosphere was playful and cheeky, this theme ran throughout the entire day. Emotions ran high when Dad came to meet Nula for her meeting with the registrars. It is a big moment for father and daughter, seeing your little girl grown up.

Joyful Moments with Nula & Jack – Wasing Park Wedding Ceremonies
Nula and Jack chose the sunlit Garden Room for their civil ceremony. The florist, Jasmines Flowers, created a stunning arrangement of hydrangeas and freesias, which I adore as they were a favourite of grandmother, who loved them dearly. Soft shades of lilac and purple complemented each other beautifully, adding a gentle elegance to the space. The room buzzed with anticipation as Jack waited, just the right touch of nerves showing as he looked forward to Nula’s arrival. Watching a groom’s reaction is always one of my favourite moments on a wedding day, so fleeting, yet so meaningful and unforgettable.

Nula & Jack had the largest and most genuine smiles and nervous cute giggles throughout the whole ceremony. They had written their own vows, that were heartfelt and humorous. With rings exchanged they shared their first kiss, followed , and their first kiss, they had the cutest moment of actually dancing for joy – I love this so much!

Smiles & Canapes at your Wasing Park Wedding
Wasing Park offers a beautiful setting, giving your wedding day the space it needs to unfold naturally and effortlessly. After the ceremony, guests were invited onto the lawn, it provided the perfect backdrop for guests to unwind and savour the delicious canapés and a glass of fizz. Whilst soaking in the atmosphere of the celebration, they greeted the newlyweds with warm hugs and congratulations, a joyful, unfiltered part of the day.
This is where my storytelling approach really comes into its own. I focus on capturing those unguarded moments as they happen, with no need for stiff posing, just genuine connections, real emotion, and the love that naturally surrounds you. These are the memories that truly last.
I always build in time for relaxed group photographs too. These are thoughtfully planned ahead of the wedding day, this helps everything run smoothly and seamlessly, allowing you to stay present and enjoy each moment without feeling rushed.
