I am so lucky to be on the list of preferred suppliers for Gorse Hill wedding photographer as I never tire of working at this beautiful Surrey wedding venue.

After the stressful delay due to Covid, It was great to finally see Joelle and Chris take their marriage vows and it was definitely worth the wait. The day stared with bridal prep with Joelle and her International bridal party, thankfully covid rules were relaxed enough to allow for them all to enter the UK with no quarantine, one less stress!

Joelle was so relaxed in comparison to Chris, who just wanted everything to be perfect for their long awaited day. It always makes me smile when the grooms are more nervous than the brides.

With a choice of ceremony rooms at Gorse Hill, Joelle and Chris chose the main white house that was beautifully styled by Jeannie at Love and Light Flowers. I love working with Jeanie, her styling is always chic.

One of my favourite moments of any wedding is the emotion between the bride and her father when he sees his daughter for the first time on her wedding day. Today did not disappoint, Joelle’s father was genuinely blown away!

Chris waited with baited breath for the arrival of Joelle, his emotions and relief clear for all to see. The ceremony had readings in both English and French in a nod to Joelle’s French nationality. Even though I could not understand them, watching the way she looked at Chris during the readings you could see it was something very special.

After the ceremony we headed out for confetti, drinks, canapes and general all round hugs and laughs. Covid took away so many simple pleasures, seeing people enjoying just being near to each other has been one of my most favourite things about being back to work.

There are beautiful grounds at Gorse Hill which makes it so easy to be a Gorse Hill wedding photographer. Perfectly manicured lawns, beautiful entrance with a water feature and festoon lights which look lovely as dusk draws in.

Whilst most of my photography style is story telling, I do like to allow 10 minutes for relaxed couples pictures. I truly believe your pictures should reflect your personalities with genuine smiles and laughter.

Denise was the most amazing photographer and we cannot recommend her enough!
She was super approachable and open when we first asked her to do our wedding, offering honest advice and sharing a bit more about her photography style.
We organised a pre-wedding shoot with Denise so we could get a bit more comfortable with being photographed and we loved those so much that we used them for our save the date cards!
When it came to the prep for the wedding, Denise had everything under control (including getting my list of group shots under control!) and it just felt so simple.
On the actual wedding day, Denise made us feel so comfortable, making easy conversation while we were getting ready. Throughout the day she was always there but never felt intrusive, the group shots were well organised and over swiftly which helped us spend more time with all of our guests.
The final photos are amazing, we love them all! We really recommend Denise as wedding photographer! Thank you so much!!
