Informal Wedding Photography with Becs and Alex

So what better way to spend one of the hottest days of the year that being part of the beautiful wedding celebrations of Becs and Alex in her home town of Queen Charlton near Bristol.

Becs and Alex reside in central London, but Becs originally grew up in this beautiful little Village, complete with a quaint village Church and rose covered cottages, totally idyllic and a wonderfully relaxed environment when preparing for one of the biggest days of your life! So much so that Becs and her mum broke into a real mum and daughter sing along with Becs playing the piano – they are both brilliant musicians so guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised.

The ceremony took place at the Church led by the Vicar who is also a family friend, he was so very lovley and injected some humour in the form of “Love is …” as described by children. One quote being “Love is like a avalanche, it just whooshes down on you” Oh to be 8 again!

The reception was held in simply decorated marquee, with all decorations and adornments made by Becs family and friends. I can’t begin to imagine how long her mother spent sewing the bunting, it was amazing. Everything about their wedding was very personal and well thought, from the various wines and sherrys sourced from areas special to them which perfectly complimented their tapas styled canapes and wedding breakfast, through to the flowers they planted into the crates from the aforementioned wines and champagne – creating beautiful yet understated focal pieces, their wedding cake made by a family friend and music and singing provided by friends during the ceremony. A more relaxed and beautifully thought out day you could not have wished for. I do hope you can feel this vibe from the images. Thank you Becs and Alex for choosing us to be part of your big day ♥
