Millbridge Court wedding photography with Nava and Nick – July 2017. This was my first visit to Millbridge Court and what a lovely venue! I can’t believe I’ve not yet had the chance to work there. Nestled on the Surrey Hampshire borders near Farnham, it is an exclusive use luxury venue, with the option for in door and out door ceremonies.
Nava and Nick choose the outdoor pergola for their Summer wedding, Sun shining, birds singing, flowers in full bloom, guests making the most of the country meadow out look, honestly, their day couldn’t have been more perfect.
Nava took full advantage of the gorgeous bridal preparation room, enough space for even the largest group of girls and has the most beautiful finishing touches.
Nick arrived shortly afterwards with his very lively groomsmen, they were such good fun and a joy to photograph. It’s always great to get some groom preparation pictures and not always possible when spread over multiple venues.
The outdoor ceremony space was elegantly decorated with small hand ties on the chairs with two ball trees (is this the correct name??) featuring flowers from Nava’s floral scheme.
Nava’s dad walked her down the aisle, Nick honestly could not have looked more proud. Seeing a first groom look is absolutely one of my favourite pictures to capture, there are no words that can replace the look.
The ceremony was fun, relaxed and full of love. The looks between Nava and Nick taking their vows are priceless, lot’s of small smiles and secret giggles.
Drinks and canapes were served in the gardens, followed by amazing speeches, there were definitely more than a few embarrassed glaces from story’s shared, and a few tears as well.
All that was left was first dance time, and that was not a disappointment. With a live band, who were awesome, Nava and Nick choose Walk on the Moon – Shut Up and Dance with Me. Now this shouldn’t work as a wedding song, but when you listen to the lyrics – it’s actually quite perfect!
