Stoke Place Wedding – Farhana + Louis
How thrilled was I to be part of Farhana and Louis’s stunning Stoke Place wedding. This venue holds a special pace in my heart as it is where I was married 11 years ago, Farhana and Louis clearly have good taste!
Stoke Place is a beautiful boutique hotel in Stoke Poges. It is set within stunning gardens designed by the Capability Brown, regarded as one of England’s greatest ever landscape gardeners. For a wedding photographer it is a delightful location offering beautiful in door and out door photography backdrops.
From the moment I met Farhana and Louis they were filled with ideas for their stoke place wedding day. With each minute meticulously planned, they were fully aware of the relaxed approach to time keeping from their Asian and Ghanaian wedding guests, they know how to party! They also wanted to incorporate some fun group photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, which were great fun to be part of.
Their wedding was a blend of Asian meets African, following traditions from both their backgrounds. It really was an explosion of colour, taste, music and dance. They both opted for an outfit change too, Farhana from traditional Asian sari to white wedding gown and Louis from Ghanian robes to a tailored suit, they both looked stunning in each outfit choice. Their weddings guests were loud, fun and incredibly welcoming. There were so many elements to their day from the ceremony to outfit changes, African and Asian decorations adorned everywhere, tribal dancing, fire eating, honestly the list is endless. So apologies in advance for the volume of images and I do hope you enjoy this visual feast ♥
