Wedding Photography Wasing Park – Steph & James
I love wedding photography at Wasing Park! There, I’ve said it. It is one of my favorite wedding venues in Berkshire. Nestled away in the village of Wasing, it has a licensed Chapel for weddings, as well as a Garden Room for civil ceremony.
The grounds are stunning, with lot’s of outdoor options for photography. And the bridal preparation room / overnight accommodation is the perfect space for you and your girlfriends to prepare for your big day.
Steph is a bit of a Disney fan, she had the cutest “I do” Mickey Mouse shoe stickers and walked down the aisle to Beauty and the Beast.
They choose the Garden Room for their civil ceremony. This is a great space filled with natural window light and comfortably cool given the hot July day. The ceremony was simple, no readings just the responsibility of James’s brother to deliver the rings.
Post ceremony drinks and canapes were served in the gardens, whilst Steph and James gave me 10 minutes for some bride and groom portraits. I find that 10 minutes is more than enough time to create some beautiful images and doesn’t keep the couple away from their guests for too long.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Castle Barn, which had been beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details. (Take a look at the images below, they are great for a little wedding inspiration). Speeches were pre dinner, allowing for James and the Father of the Bride to enjoy their wedding breakfast!
With the band ready to play, all that was left was their first dance! I do hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from their Wasing Park wedding.
