Farnham Castle Wedding – Laura + Leo

I’m always excited to head back to beautiful Farnham Castle Wedding, the stunning back drop for Laura and Leo’s simply perfect wedding day!

The day started with bridal prep within the grounds of Farnham Castle, with lot’s of bubbles and giggles from the bridal party, with even more excitement once the wedding flowers arrived. Though I am biased as peonies are my favourite flower 🙂

Once Laura and her bridesmaids were ready, they were driven the short distance to Saint Andrews Church in a gorgeous classic Rolls Royce. Cars were to play a big part of Laura and Leo’s big day as they met, and both work at Porsche. 

Laura’s Father couldn’t have looked more proud walking his daughter up the candle lit church aisle. Leo was genuinely overwhelmed with emotion at Laura’s arrival, I absolutely love documenting these moments, they pass so quickly. 

With the ceremony finished we headed back to Farnham Castle for the confetti shot taken in the main stairway of the Castle, I love a confetti picture, it just feels so wedding. The wedding guests were so chilled and made the most of the stunning surrounds, beautiful weather, the canapes, cocktails – the atmosphere was fun and laughter.

I’m not big on taking my couples away for long couples’ portraits sessions as I believe the wedding days is to be shared with family and friends, and not a photoshoot. Most of my couples’ photo sessions take 15-20 minutes, they are  relaxed, reflecting who you are as a couple. The grounds of the castle are beautiful with lot’s of little quirky areas, perfect for wedding photos (or sneaky kisses!).

The rest of the day was filled with laughter and emotion with speeches from Laura’s Father, Leo – who still looked like the cat that got the cream and one from Leo’s best friend and Best man, ending with a big bromance hug!
