Stanlake Park - A Hidden Gem Berkshire Wedding Venue

I was so excited to head back to Stanlake Park Vineyard for Hannah and Rohan’s South African laid back wedding.

Stanlake Park Vineyard is nestled away in the small Berkshire village of Twyford. It provides a beautiful barn feel for wedding celebrations, gorgeous rustic features and beautiful tree lined areas for your wedding guests to enjoy your big day. The vibe is chilled, this suited Hannah and Rohan’s wedding plans for their family and friends to relax and enjoy themselves whilst celebrating their wedding. Rohan is South African and added a traditional South African Braii (BBQ) instead of the usual UK wedding breakfast, the food was amazing!

Hannah was brimming with excitement, lot’s of smiles ad laughter with the bridesmaids and her dad ensured everyone had their glasses topped up! Hannah has a jumping photo tradition with her friends, of course it would be rude not to have a wedding day one too, wow those girls can jump high!

There are so many moments pre ceremony that are precious; the young flower girls looked adorable and smiled the whole way up the aisle, this may not sound like a big feat but let me tell you I have seen enough weddings to know this can end up in all sorts of tantrums and tears :). I especially love Rohan’s face watching Hannah walk up the aisle with her Dad, the sweetest mix of emotion and pride.

The ceremony was live streamed to Rohan’s grand parents who were unable to make the trip over, how lovely to see their grandson married in real time. The bridesmaid and best man shared a reading which had everyone smiling.

Post ceremony the guests were treated to tasty canapes, wine and champagne produced at Stanlake and listened to great live music from The Lightmen playing a great acoustic set. They provided the evening music too playing awesome dancefloor fillers!
