Throwing it back to 2019 and the relaxed wedding with Emma & Ollie. The wedding took place in the beautiful chapel at Epsom College and the reception at Ollie’s parents home.
It was a crazy hot day, the mood during prep was fun and relaxed and the marquee looked amazing. I was in awe of the cars for this wedding! Cars play a huge part in Ollie and Emma’s lives; Ollie races Caterham 7’s and Emma works in Formula E, and they met at a service station on the way back from a race!
Ollie arrived at the chapel in a Ferrari, Emma in a classic Rolls Royce. Post ceremony they both hopped into the Ferrari, I did wonder if the dress would fit, clearly more room in a Ferrari than I thought!
Drinks and canapes were served on the lawn to the backdrop of a harpist and the laughter of their guests’. The amazing sweet trolley also took a bit of a bashing at this point. There was so much love with these guys and their guests. Lot’s of laughter and banter always makes for chilled photos and a relaxed wedding day. We avoided the harsh sunlight for relaxed couples’ pictures. I like to keep couples’ photos simple, no one wants to stand around for hours in crazy poses, unless of course you’re a model.
There were a few famous faces amongst the guests. I’m not usually one to simper but one guest I absolutely love, in fact l’d go so far to say I slightly idolise. He was responsible for preventing my beloved Tottenham being dumped from the premier league and of course became a bit of a legend after appearing in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. He was lovely in real life and obliged for photos with the wedding guests (and me too!).
The evening finished with a spectacular firework display. The perfect end to the perfect relaxed wedding day.
